What we're listening for

We have not picked up the Cerulean Warbler at the dock yet. The microphones stay on day and night, so the first time one calls within earshot it will appear here.

About the bird

The cerulean warbler is a small songbird in the family Parulidae. It is a long-distance migrant, breeding in eastern North American hardwood forests and wintering on the Eastern slope of the Andes in South America during non-breeding season, preferring subtropical forests.
